Jennifer and I were talking about her story and realized that it really needed to be told. We knew it could help so many people who are struggling with so many different things.

It was heartbreaking to hear things Jennifer had kept buried. I lived through pieces of it with her, but I didn’t know the full extent until she told me. It was painful to imagine her enduring those things. But I was also incredibly grateful, because she made it through. She survived.
